i'm one of those mean moms that take photos of their kids before they help them. gray loves this toy, because he can grab onto it really easily. but then he hates it because he can't fit it into his mouth.

he rediscovers this a couple of times a week.

gray turned five months old... i swear, time goes by so much more quickly when you have a kid... all of the sudden you can SEE how much time has passed. he's so much bigger than he was just a few months ago. he's working on sitting up. he's decided he's done rolling over (weird?). he LOVES every food we've given him so far. and he absolutely loves to talk. and scream. he's very social :)

i love this bug.

ps - i love his fat thighs and toe-fetish.

i know i keep saying this, but i'm determined to catch up. that way i'll stop binge blogging...

let's see how many i can get in before a sick baby decides he's sick of his play mat.

new year's day is one of my family's traditions. i would assume most people are setting resolutions or hitting the gym. we get together with a whole bunch of family and friends, eat all day, and play lots of games. it's one of my favorites :)

however, i was too busy being a glutton to take any photos. until the end of the day, when gray was hanging out with.. my cousin. hah. gray and kate.

whew! i got through last year at least. now i just need to catch up to the present and i will be good to go! 

nothing rings in a new year like taking down christmas and making homemade baby food. we really know how to live it up!
